Friends of Prince William County Rowing/Crew,
Rowing/Crew leadership, within the county, has been engaged in conversations with Prince William County leadership as to the feasibility of the funding and subsequent building of a new facility in support of community-based rowing/crew activities. We would like to demonstrate to our elected officials the level of support for moving forward with this discussion in the form of an electronic petition vice traditional door-to-door.
The Petition hosting site will ask if you would like to make a donation. This donation is not at the request of PWCA nor will that donation be given to PWCA. The donation request is from the Hosting site, IPetitions, to support its efforts in providing Free hosting services.
You can show your support by doing the following.
1. Sign the petition
2. Share the petition link with family, friends, and neighbors asking them to sign it.
3. Post link to social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) that they use.
4. Share with former Coaching staff and graduate High School rowers
5. Share the link with other organizations they may be part of asking for support. (Religious, social, or community)
6. Posting comments in support of this effort are greatly appreciated.

It is the intent of the PWCA leadership to present the petition to a sitting member of the County Board of Supervisors no later than the middle of November to be included on the docket for discussion at the next scheduled Prince William County Board of Supervisors meeting.

The purposes of this organization shall be to coordinate the efforts of its member organizations by providing a cohesive entity to administer those physical assets (Oxford Boathouse, adjacent three crew docks, and storage areas) leased to PWCA by the Prince William County Park Authority of Virginia; and to provide guidance, aid, assistance, and encouragement to PWCA member organizations; and to provide an interface with County and public school officials of Prince William County, Virginia, for the support of the rowing teams of Prince William County high schools . To the extent that they support scholastic rowing teams, PWCA also provides guidance and similar support to other Prince William County rowing organizations.

Hours of Operation:
Monday - Friday 0700 - 2000
Saturday 0700 - 1000
Boathouse may operate additional weekend hours to support rowing activities.
Docks are restricted from public access anytime rowing activity is in progress.
